RETURN POLICY
Our goal at Blackhat Photography is your complete satisfaction with your purchase.
Please email us immediately if there is any discrepancy with your online order. If you are not satisfied in any way with art from the Blackhat Photography website, you may exchange it or return the item within 7 days from RECEIPT of items for internet orders. You will receive a credit for the cost of the purchased item after it has been inspected for return to our inventory. Shipping charges paid on your order are NOT refundable. The CUSTOMER must pay return shipping charges unless it was our shipping error.
If you receive item(s) that were believed to be damaged during shipping, please take photos of the items and packaging so that we can properly document.

Return Authorization
You must inform our staff via email prior to shipping a return in order to receive proper instructions and authorization. Email by clicking here.
Returns
We gladly accept any returns that follow the above return guidelines. However, art prints are very delicate, therefore you need to take extreme measures to ensure the items are returned undamaged. We recommend sending it through a trackable method and insuring the package in the event it is damaged as we will not be responsible for that. If we receive a damaged item as a return and we are unable to re-enter it into our inventory, we offer you the following options:
1) We can return the item(s) to you at no additional charge
2) We can refund 50% of the purchase price of the item(s)
3) We can offer you store credit for 50% of the purchase price of the item(s)
We suggest insuring all return shipments to avoid any possible damaged-in-transit losses. Please re-use original packing materials if possible. We also suggest sending it using a trackable method as well as insuring it since we will not be responsible for pieces that are returned to us damaged.

All images appearing on the Blackhat Photography web site, unless noted otherwise, are the exclusive property of Blackhat Photography and are protected under the United States and International Copyright laws. The images may not be reproduced, copied, transmitted or manipulated without the written permission of Michael Land. These copyright laws impose substantial penalties for infringement, and violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The use of any images or other materials included herein, in whole or in part, for any purpose other than the private purpose of viewing them online, including, but not limited to, copying, reproduction, publication (including on Internet Web Sites including third party web pages by any means, including “hotlinking”, storage in a retrieval system (other than internet browser), manipulation (digital or otherwise), or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, is expressly prohibited without the written permission of Michael Land. All artistic and moral rights of the author are hereby asserted.
By purchasing a print from us, you understand that you own a copy of an original photograph as captured by the original creator, Michael Land.
At no point do you, or will you, own the copyright of any image purchased from us as a print.
Prints may not be reproduced, copied, shared electronically or used for any commercial purposes without our prior, express, permission and any applicable fee (as determined by us) being paid.
It is illegal to produce copies of any work which is copyrighted by us, and we reserve the right to request legal assistance to enforce any applicable laws should any breach of copyright be discovered.

Customs, Excise Duties & Import Taxes
All prints are produced and shipped from Fredericksburg, Virginia
As a responsible international seller, we are legally bound to provide information to the relevant import and export authorities when shipping prints to countries outside of The United States.
We will ensure, where appropriate, that the value stated for the purposes of import and export to the country of delivery is accurate and correct, reflecting the actual material replacement cost of the order.
The payment of any import customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Jurisdiction and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

We may revise these Terms from time to time.
Every time you order from us, the Terms in force at that time will apply to the Contract between you and us.
The Terms applicable to your contract will be determined as those published and active on the date your order was placed.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Blackhat Photography and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
